CURT HALE A SAFETY SPECIALIST SHARES HOW TO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE

It is truly a sad fact, but every church needs to have ongoing training for their children's ministry workers in order to keep their most vulnerable members...their children...safe from predators. In this episode, Curt Hale, from Shelter and Shield, is a Safety Specialist. This organization helps congregations learn what to look for when it comes to the safety of children. Curt offers timely tips and advice to both pastors and lay workers, all aimed at keeping abusers away from our children.

SHEPHERD PROFILE
Mark Goldstein

Mark Goldstein has been serving the Central Florida community since the 1980s. He spent 11 years in broadcasting at WTLN and ran the magazine, “Look Up Orlando.” He also served as the president of the Central Florida Christian Chamber. After a God-ordained meeting with Mike Gilland, the Operations Manager at The Shepherd, Mark Goldstein became an integral part in the radio station’s growth.

Mark returned to his roots of radio and broadcasting when he became the host of the “The Shepherd at Work” in August 2022. The show models Mark’s philosophy—the need for Christians to get out of the church and to be salt and light for a sinful world. He gives listeners the tools to engage in ministry in the workplace, and introduces leaders in the community who are doing it successfully.
